Meade Scholarship Program

Mr. Meade did not like school when he was young. He dropped out of high school when he was sixteen (16) and started working. He eventually attended adult evening high school and was able to transfer to community college. He later obtained undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Virginia where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with Highest Distinction.

Mr. Meade believes the same qualities and characteristics that made him a “bad student” when he was young helped him achieve some of his most important long-term goals. According to Mr. Meade, “Some kids who have problems when they’re young are independent thinkers who don’t like to be bossed around and told what to do. These traits rarely translate into success when you’re young. But if you can make it through the system and somehow get your degrees, these same traits will translate into success as you get older.”

The Meade Scholarship Program is designed to help non-traditional first and second year college students who took the road less travelled. Please feel free to contact our Richmond, Virginia office in order to request additional information about The Meade Scholarship Program.
